Why I Started This Site (and What I’m Tired Of)

If you’ve ever Googled “ADHD tips” and clicked out 10 seconds later because it felt like a list made for 5-year-olds… yeah, same.

That’s part of why I started this site.

After getting diagnosed later in life and realizing I’d been masking, overcompensating, and burning out for *years*. I was hungry for information. Real info. I didn’t want to be coddled, and I sure as hell didn’t want to be spoken to like I couldn’t think for myself.

Most ADHD websites made me feel like I was broken.
But I’m not broken. I’m tired.
Tired of pretending. Tired of feeling “lazy” when I’m actually overloaded. Tired of thinking I need to fix myself to fit in.

So I built this space for people like me. For people like you.

Not just to talk about ADHD. But to explore how we live with it, how we adapt, how we grow. I’ll be sharing my story, things I’ve learned the hard way, and stuff that actually helps, not the generic “use a planner” advice (I’ve bought 47 planners, they’re all empty).

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or just *suspecting* something’s up. I’m glad you’re here.

We don’t have to figure this out alone.

  1. I literally have thought I’ve had ADHD since I was about 16 and now 37 I haven’t yet to even look into a doctor to be diagnosed. One I’m
Scared to learn I that I am or not. Cause if I’m
Not the. What is wrong with me? Life’s been hard trying to appeal to everyone and not being able to because I get overwhelmed. Hopefully I can see more people talk about their experiences.

    1. My advice is if you can go get tested , then do so. Whatever the outcome is then you can figure out what your next step is. When you get tested , you’ll get a consultation giving you the results , and if it turns out you aren’t suffering from ADHD , they might give you an idea of what it could possibly be. Good luck, friend.
